In the build up to PENNYFEST 4, we'll be interviewing the bands and stallholders involved to give you a taste of what the day has instore.
HM: Tell us a bit more about what you do...
KB: I'm an artist/illustrator/designer based in Nottingham. I love drawing and printmaking.
HM: How did you find out about Pennyfest?
KB: I've been a stall holder at a couple of Pennyfest events but I originally heard about it through a friend that is in a band that played. The event is super friendly with a lovely atmosphere.
HM: How important are events like this to Derby and to you personally?
KB: I think it's really important for people to put things like this on and give an opportunity for local artists and bands to get their work to new audiences. Personally it's great to be able to cross the border to Derby and have the chance to meet fellow makers and listen to fab bands.
HM: What are you looking forward to most about Pennyfest?
KB: All the friendly faces and the lovely music.
HM: Where can we find out more about your work?
KB: I have a website that I am adding to all the time, you can visit it here - www.katrinebrosnan.co.uk
